All LONGBLOCKS are fitted with either 2V AUSSIE cast iron
cylinder heads or SUPER BOSS custom aluminum cylinder heads. Fel Pro head gaskets, ARP head bolts, HD
hydraulic lifters, chrome moly push rods, and billet aluminum roller rockers
all come standard on these engines. Valve lash will be adjusted to the
correct lifter preload and a leak-down test performed to verify integrity
of the assembly. Whether you want a smooth idle 350HP restomod engine,
or our radical 600HP BOSS 429C motor, POWERHEADS can build the Cleveland
engine you need.

| Clevelands need a high lift
cam to make power, but without proper profiles you only end up
with power above 4000 rpm. POWERHEADS has designed a .600’’+ lift roller cam with
a wide range of operation from 2500-6500 rpm. This cam has an
aggressive “hot rod” sound but enough vacuum at idle to run your
power brakes, 2800 stahl converter recommended. ADD = $500.00 |
